Building confident, connected relationships with food
FEEDING INTENSIVE: Specialised 1:1 Occupational Therapy holiday program for children who experience feeding challenges. Building functional capacity for life through sensory exploration, connection, routine and meaningful engagement with food.
GOAL: For each child to feel safe and supported in their relationship with food, developing internal confidence and regulation around mealtimes. From this platform, they can expand skills including sensory processing, self-regulation, attention, motor planning, oral-motor coordination and participation in family meals.
FOUNDATIONS: Supporting sensory integration, emotional regulation, behavioural responses to food, curiosity and positive connection, routine development, tool use, motor planning, body awareness, and shared engagement between child and caregiver.
ENVIRONMENT: Calm, supportive clinical environment designed to reduce pressure and build trust. Play-based, experiential learning that integrates exploration, preparation, creativity and connection with food sources.
Ages: 6 months – 7 years
When: 7th – 10th April 2026 and 6th – 9th October 2026
Includes 4 x 1:1 in-clinic sessions + 1 x parent consultation for feedback and carryover support.
Ratio: 1:1 child to specialised paediatric occupational therapist
